We are a fast moving startup looking for an experienced full stack developer who enjoys building products, solving challenging technical problems, and working closely with a small, ambitious team. About the Role We are looking for a talented Full Stack Mobile Developer to help accelerate development of our iOS application and Firebase backend. You will work directly with the founder and collaborate with our existing developers to build production ready features, improve architecture, and help move the product toward launch. This is a hands on engineering role where your contributions will have an immediate impact. Responsibilities * Develop and maintain our iOS application using SwiftUI * Design and build scalable backend services with Firebase * Build new features from concept through production * Improve application performance, reliability, and user experience * Review code and contribute to engineering best practices * Collaborate with and mentor junior developers when needed * Work closely with the founder to bring product ideas to life * Participate in testing, debugging, and production releases Tech Stack * Swift * SwiftUI * Firebase * Firestore * Authentication * Cloud Functions * Storage * React Native * TypeScript * GitHub * Stripe * Apple MapKit * REST APIs * AI assisted development using Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor Qualifications Required * 5+ years of professional software development experience * Strong Swift and SwiftUI development experience * Strong Firebase experience, including Firestore and Cloud Functions * Experience shipping production mobile applications * Solid understanding of mobile application architecture * Experience working across frontend and backend systems * Strong Git and collaborative development experience * Excellent communication skills Preferred * React Native experience * Experience with marketplace applications * Stripe payment integrations * Maps and geolocation * Startup experience * Experience mentoring or supporting junior developers Compensation We are open to structuring compensation based on the right fit.
