Initial 3-month contract (inside IR35, extendable) as a Full Stack .NET Developer for a growing insurance company in London or Essex. Day to day: building modern cloud-native apps and digital platforms with C#/.NET, React and SQL Server on Azure (App Services, Functions, Service Bus), with CI/CD in Azure DevOps and AI-assisted development. £650–£700 per day.
A growing insurance company is seeking an experienced Full Stack .NET Developer to support the delivery of modern, cloud-based applications and digital platforms.
Essential qualifications
- Strong experience with .NET / C#
- Commercial experience developing front-end applications using React
- Strong SQL Server development and optimisation skills
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native development
- Knowledge of Azure services including App Services, Functions, Azure SQL, Service Bus, Key Vault and API Management
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline implementation
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs
- Understanding of Agile development practices, SOLID principles and automated testing
- Experience using Claude AI or similar AI development tools to improve delivery and productivity
Desirable qualifications
- Previous experience within the Insurance sector
- Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures
- Terraform or Infrastructure as Code experience
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience integrating Generative AI solutions into enterprise applications
