Full Stack Python Engineer

Work Model: Hybrid 6 times per month in office

About the Role

We are looking for a Software Security Engineer who is passionate about building secure, scalable platforms and improving engineering resilience. You will work across application design, cloud-native infrastructure, and DevSecOps practices to help engineering teams deliver secure software efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop secure application services and RESTful APIs.
  • Lead technical design discussions and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Improve application reliability, scalability, and resilience through engineering best practices.
  • Take ownership of features and deliver high-quality solutions independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to secure software development practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience with Python (Python 3.11+ preferred) and solid object-oriented programming principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Django and/or FastAPI.
  • Experience with TypeScript frameworks such as Angular and/or NestJS.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development best practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm.
  • Experience working with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and willingness to learn new technologies.

Nice to Have

  • Understanding of open-source software licensing (Apache 2.0, MIT, GPL) and its practical implications.
  • Familiarity with modern Python development tools such as uv, Ruff, and Rye.
  • Experience with Go and/or Java.
  • Knowledge of authentication and identity standards including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SAML.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar coding assistants.
  • Familiarity with OpenTelemetry and OpenAPI.
  • Active participation in the technical community through blogging, GitHub projects, or open-source contributions.
