About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading technology company in the PropTech/FinTech space, is seeking a passionate and proactive Software Engineer to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and production support.
- Work within an Agile development process, collaborating closely with the Product team to prepare design artifacts and deliver new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Engage with internal Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and product owners to clearly understand business requirements and application architecture.
- Ensure all code adheres to the team's established technical standards and programming guidelines.
- Assist in estimating the effort and time required for development tasks.
- Support the team by assisting with the setup of infrastructure and system software for development, testing, and production environments.
- Take ownership of delegated tasks and ensure their timely completion to meet project deadlines.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in technical software development.
- Technical Stack:
- Proficiency in React.
- Strong programming skills in Golang and/or JavaScript.
- Solid experience with RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Soft Skills:
- A proactive, optimistic, and passionate team player with good initiative.
- Good verbal and written communication in English.
- Strong analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills.
- A proven ability to cope with tight deadlines and adhere to delivery plans.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
- Experience with AWS cloud services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD deployment processes.
- Understanding of design documentation standards (e.g., UML).
