Employer.com is seeking a software developer who enjoys building applications from UI to infrastructure, including both internal and customer-facing projects. You will prototype ideas and work near the live systems on AWS, with on-site work and some hybrid flexibility, and overlap with our US team.
The stack combines TypeScript/React on the frontend with Scala, Python, Node.js, and Go across services. We value strong engineering fundamentals and adaptability to new tech stacks.
Develop web applications from UI through to API and data layer. Build and maintain modern web applications. Develop new product features and improve existing applications. Integrate third-party APIs and external services. Build internal tools and automations to remove manual work. Translate business requirements into reliable, maintainable software. Troubleshoot issues and improve performance and reliability. Participate in code reviews and raise the bar on engineering practices. Experience shipping production web applications end to end. Experience with AWS and CI/CD pipelines. Frontend skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript with React or similar. Ability to learn new stacks quickly and apply them.
