Full Stack Software Developer

Job Mobz in Italy is seeking a software developer who enjoys building practical business applications and cares about how those systems run in production. This is a broad role in a small engineering organization where you'll build internal and customer-facing apps, prototype ideas, and work close to the infrastructure.

Our stack favors pragmatism: TypeScript and React on the frontend, with Scala, Python, Node.js, and Go across services, all on AWS.

Build and maintain modern web applications, from UI through to API and data layer. Develop new product features and improve existing applications. Integrate third-party APIs and external services. Build internal tools and automations that remove manual work from business processes. Translate business requirements into reliable, maintainable software. Troubleshoot issues and improve application performance and reliability. Participate in code reviews and help raise the bar on engineering practices. Infrastructure work is shared across a small team rather than siloed, so we're looking for someone who can contribute here credibly. Work with AWS infrastructure across production and non-production environments (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, Route 53). Several years building and shipping production web applications end to end. Strong programming fundamentals in a modern typed or backend language, and the ability to become productive in a new one quickly. Hands-on experience running applications on AWS or a comparable cloud platform. Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and infrastructure as code. Comfort operating what you build — debugging production issues, reading logs and metrics, and improving reliability over time. Experience with SQL and relational databases. Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party services. Git and pull-request-based collaboration. Strong analytical skills and clear written and verbal communication.
