Qualifications & Experience
• Diploma or above in Computer Science, IT or related discipline
• At least 1 year of experience in web or application development, with strength in either frontend or backend
• Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript and at least one modern framework (e.g., React, Vue, Next.js) or backend language (e.g., Node.js, Python, Go, Java)
• Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), RESTful API design and Git
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, basic Linux deployment and testing tools (e.g., Jest, Playwright, PyTest, Postman) is preferred
• Experience with Agent Workflow development paradigms is an advantage
• Prior work in Smart City Management, Municipal Landscape & Parks, Tree Asset & Risk Management, Urban Greening or Forestry Information Systems is a plus
Tasks & Responsibilities
• Responsible for full-stack feature development, from requirements to production delivery
• Design and implement backend business logic, database models and API endpoints
• Build user-friendly frontend pages with component-driven principles
• Handle edge cases and security, including authentication/authorization, input validation and exception handling
• Maintain, troubleshoot and improve existing software applications
• Self-test and write unit, API integration or end-to-end tests to ensure delivery quality
