Qascom | Aerospace & Defence is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer for its headquarters in Cassola (VI), Italy. You will contribute to high-end software for space missions and governmental services within the Software Engineering Team.

Initially you will maintain and evolve a complex distributed system for GNSS interference monitoring, with involvement in data collection, storage and visualization, plus DevOps activities and production maintenance.

Design, development, test and deployment of distributed systems for data collection, storage and visualization. System level activities, including requirements analysis, identification and flow-down, software design and development. Development of technical documentation per ESA/ECSS, GSWS, ETSI standards. Implementation and deployment of RAG systems and fine-tuned LLMs in production environments. Maintenance of production systems with focus on availability according to SLA. Management of system infrastructure and DevOps activities, including monitoring and troubleshooting. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering (required). Professional experience developing and maintaining complex production applications (required). Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred). Experience with containerization (Docker required; Kubernetes is a plus). Knowledge of web application development and deployment. Knowledge of security principles. Knowledge of software engineering, design practices, patterns and OOP. Proficiency in .Net Core or TypeScript+NodeJS. Knowledge of Angular/React/Next. Hands-on Linux experience. Experience with distributed systems, event-driven development, microservices and message brokers.
