Fullstack Developer - .NET & Azure
Summary
Build and maintain backend applications and REST APIs using .NET, C#, SQL Server, and Azure services (Functions, Storage, API Management, Kubernetes) for a client project in a hybrid setup in Porto.

We are looking for a Fullstack Developer - .NET & Azure to join a project with one of our clients, a global leader in professional information solutions and software. Operating across more than 180 countries, the company develops technology-driven solutions for industries including Healthcare, Tax & Accounting, Financial & Corporate Compliance, and Legal & Regulatory.
This person will work primarily with .NET, C#, SQL Server, and Azure, contributing to backend development, API design, technical decisions, code quality, and automated testing.
Responsabilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and C#.
- Develop and maintain RESTful Web APIs.
- Work with SQL Server, including queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
- Build and maintain cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure services.
- Work with services such as Azure Functions, Azure Storage, API Gateway/API Management, and Kubernetes.
- Write and maintain unit tests, using mocking frameworks and API automation practices.
- Contribute to technical and design decisions, applying appropriate design patterns and OOP principles.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high development standards.
- Work with GitHub, following branching, merging, and collaborative development practices.
- Collaborate with the development team throughout the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in backend software development.
- Strong hands-on experience with C# and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Experience with .NET Core and ASP.NET MVC.
- Hands-on experience developing Web APIs / REST APIs.
- Solid knowledge of SQL Server, including queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Understanding of common software design patterns.
- Experience with cloud-based development, preferably using Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with or exposure to Azure Functions, Storage, API Management/Gateway, and Kubernetes.
- Experience writing unit tests, working with mocking frameworks, and API test automation.
- Experience with Git/GitHub, including branching and merging strategies.
- Good understanding of code review and software development best practices.
- Good level of English, both written and spoken.
