YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take technical ownership of projects and make key architectural and technology decisions
- Lead, mentor and support developers, helping the team solve complex technical challenges and grow their skills
- Design, develop and maintain scalable web applications, with a strong focus on Python and modern backend development
- Contribute hands-on to the codebase, conduct code reviews and ensure high standards of code quality, testing and maintainability
- Design scalable system architectures and REST APIs, applying Clean Architecture and SOLID principles
- Work across the stack when needed, collaborating on frontend solutions built with React / React Native and TypeScript
- Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude in day-to-day engineering work, including coding, analysis, testing, debugging and solution design
- Work closely with PMs, POs, UI/UX Designers and Developers to translate business needs into effective technical solutions
- Gather, define and document functional and non-functional requirements, assess their technical feasibility and communicate them clearly to the development team
- Support Project Managers with technical planning, problem-solving, task estimation and prioritisation
- Collaborate on cloud-based solutions and modern DevOps practices throughout the development and deployment lifecycle
- Communicate directly with clients and stakeholders, providing technical recommendations and explaining architectural decisions
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and actively participate in planning, demos, retrospectives and other team activities
- Be comfortable working across different projects and adapting to changing technical and business requirements
- Occasionally travel for client meetings, workshops, external team collaboration or project planning
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, including hands-on experience in a Tech Lead, Technical Lead, Team Lead or similar technical leadership role
- Advanced knowledge of Python and its engineering best practices; experience with Django is a plus
- Strong understanding of software and system architecture, including designing modular, scalable and maintainable systems and REST APIs
- Proven ability to take technical ownership of a project, proactively propose solutions and make architectural decisions
- Strong hands-on engineering background - this is a leadership role, but you will still actively contribute to the codebase
- Experience delivering end-to-end solutions that meet both technical requirements and clients’ business objectives
- Practical experience with AI-assisted software development and tools such as Claude or similar - AI is part of our everyday engineering workflow
- Good understanding of modern frontend technologies, particularly React and TypeScript.
- Experience working with cloud environments and modern DevOps practices
- Good understanding of Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, testing practices and code quality standards
- Ability to define and document functional and non-functional requirements
- Experience with Git-based development workflows and code review
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Openness to learning, experimenting with new technologies and continuously improving engineering practices
- Polish and English at C1 level or higher

Hands-on experience building solutions using LLMs, AI APIs or other Generative AI technologies - Experience introducing AI tools or AI-assisted workflows into software development teams
- Experience with Redux / Redux Toolkit / RTK Query

- Experience in data analysis or data processing
