Fullstack Developer

Responsibilities

• Build the foundational elements: definition registry, common PSK window, shared assessment, evidence and text areas, status strategy framework, generic server data path, and load-time validation of a definition.
• Configure and build each assigned PSK: data grid and columns, calculated fields, additional data areas, chart, and status synthesis.
• Extend the existing database schema where new fields are required, and verify nothing breaks for the PSKs already in production.
• Write and run unit tests; support system and integration testing and fix defects found in them.
• Review AI-generated code and tests before they enter the codebase.
• Work to the standard that a PSK is added by configuration, not by a new code path.

Essential skills and experience

• 5+ years of professional full-stack web development. This is a firm minimum and will be verified.
• Strong PHP against a relational database, including writing and refactoring non-trivial SQL.
• Strong JavaScript, including a component-based UI framework with data grids and charts. The application uses ExtJS 4 with jQuery alongside it; comparable frameworks are listed under Framework background below.
• Experience working inside an existing codebase that the candidate did not write, with the discipline not to refactor beyond the task.
• Able to deliver against short milestones and raise a slip the day it happens.
• HTML and CSS sufficient to build and adjust data-dense screens.

Desirable

• Sencha ExtJS, version 4 or later, including grid panels, data stores and chart components.
• Experience with configuration-driven or metadata-driven application design.
• Exposure to automotive or manufacturing systems.
• Experience working with AI coding assistants on production code.
