Fullstack Engineer — Financial Engineering, Creator Monetization

We are looking for a Fullstack Engineer to join the Creator Monetization squad within Financial Engineering. Our mission is to ensure that creators are getting paid accurately and on time — a critical part of enabling more creators to live off their art. As we rapidly scale our creator programs across audiobooks and podcasts, our systems will be processing higher volumes of financial data powering payouts for creators worldwide. This work is highly visible across the company, touching Finance, Commerce, and the Business Verticals. You'll work across the full stack — from creator- and finance-facing UIs to backend services and internal tooling — and gain exposure to a wide range of business domains along the way.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain fullstack features across backend services and internal as well as external-facing UIs that power creator monetization workflows

• Work across the stack using Typescript and React, Java, PostgreSQL, and GCP to deliver end-to-end solutions

• Contribute to the reliability and scalability of financial data pipelines and payments infrastructure

• Build and improve internal tooling and back-office systems used by finance and operations teams

• Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional partners across Finance, Commerce, and Operations

• Use AI-assisted development tools to move faster while maintaining accountability for quality and outcomes

• Continuously improve monitoring, testing, and operational practices across production systems

Who You Are

• You have experience building and operating fullstack applications in production environments

• You are proficient in Java and have experience with modern frontend development (TypeScript and React)

• You have practical experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL

• You are comfortable working across frontend and backend systems and care about how they connect

• You have a solid understanding of APIs, system design, and modern web architecture

• You take ownership of what you ship, from implementation through production health

• You are comfortable using AI-assisted development tools and take responsibility for validating outputs

• You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with engineers and cross-functional partners

• You care about writing clean, maintainable code that others can easily understand and extend

• You are curious, proactive, and motivated to learn through experimentation and feedback

• Experience with financial systems, payment platforms, or high-volume data processing is a plus
