Fullstack .Net Developer

About the role

Ascendion is seeking a talented Fullstack .Net Developer to join our growing engineering team in Metro Manila. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing web applications using .Net technologies across both front-end and back-end environments. As a fullstack developer, you will play a crucial role in delivering robust, scalable solutions that drive our business objectives and delight our customers. Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain fullstack web applications using .Net frameworks (ASP.Net Core, .Net Framework) and related technologies

• Develop both server-side and client-side code using C#, JavaScript, HTML and CSS to create seamless user experiences

• Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards

• Collaborate with product managers, designers and other developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions

• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members

• Troubleshoot, debug and resolve technical issues and performance bottlenecks in production environments

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools and methodologies

• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to .Net development

• Participate in sprint planning, daily standups and retrospectives as part of an agile development team

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of professional experience as a fullstack developer or similar role with demonstrated expertise in .Net technologies

• Strong proficiency in C# and experience with .Net frameworks (ASP.Net Core or .Net Framework)

• Solid understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and modern frameworks (Angular or React)

• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL, including writing optimised queries

• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines

• Knowledge of RESTful API design and web services development

• Understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles and software architecture best practices

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is preferred

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is an advantage

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience
