Role: Functional Business Analyst
Key Skills:
· Expert skills in MS excel, Excel Macros, MS power point, Sharepoint.
· Experience in Software Development Cycle and JIRA
· Good data analysis skills.
Responsibilities:
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
· Collaborate with Business Unit Specialists to elicit, review, and validate business requirements
· Perform impact assessments and analyze the "to-be" business and operational processes based on agreed requirements
- Define detailed functional and non-functional requirements aligned with business objectives
- Monitor and manage risks / issues related to requirements and scope creep
- Perform impact assessments and estimations for project change requests
Functional Design & Solution Alignment
· Transition requirements to System Analysts, ensuring clarity and completeness.
- Maintain traceability of functional specification to business requirements
Testing
- Review test plan and functional test scope prepared by testing team
- Support SIT and UAT, including defect prioritisation, tracking and resolution
Requirements:
- > 10 years of experience in business analysis, with a strong track record in delivering Data-related projects
- Strong SQL skills.
- Data profiling and validation experience.
- Data mapping and transformation expertise.
- Understanding of relational databases.
- Skilled in MS Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and reporting
- Experienced in change management and project management fundamentals
- Strong team player with leadership skills, able to drive collaboration and resolve complex issues
- Passionate, diligent, and resilient, with the ability to work through ambiguity and deliver under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building strong stakeholder relationships
- Confident presenter, able to explain complex topics clearly and effectively
