FUSA Safety-Oriented Architect and Developer
- Lead complete FUSA safety development and report status, issues to leaders.
- Communicate with supplier and review supplier safety software compliance with Iso 26262standard.
- Define and review safety-related software architecture for ADAS functions.
- Identify safety-critical software components, interfaces, dependencies, and failure propagation paths.
- Define appropriate safety mechanisms such as:
- Watch dog monitoring, Plausibility checks, Range and limit checks, Data integrity monitoring
- Communication monitoring, Timeout monitoring, Alive/counter monitoring
- Redundant signal comparison, End-to-end protection
- Fault detection and diagnostic mechanisms
- Ensure appropriate handling of faults, degraded modes, and safe-state/minimal-risk behavior.
- Define safety mechanism and implementation from SOC safety manual, MCU safety manual.
- Design & implement safety mechanism from FMEDA SOC (example TDA4, NVIDIA etc.) and MCU RH850, TC3/4xx etc.
- Define HW-SW interface safety design for ethernet communication, CAN communication, I2C, SPI, MIPI, ADC.
- Perform SW safety analysis FMEA, DFA.
- Design FFI (freedom from interfaces) and memory protection and ECC implementation.
- Perform system level safety analysis FMEA-MSR and DFA
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science,
Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related
field.
- 8+ years of experience in ADAS/AD, functional safety,
or safety-critical embedded software.
- Good Hands on of ISO 26262, particularly Part 6
(Product Development – Software Level).
- Experience with safety requirements, software architecture,
safety analysis, and verification.
- Experience of SOC (multi core) FUSA safety manual
development.
- Experience of MCU (multi core) FUSA safety manual
development.
- Understanding of embedded software development and real-time
systems.
- Experience with C/C++ and automotive software development is
preferred.
- Experience with CAN/CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet,
diagnostics, FOTA and ECU communication is advantageous.
- Ability to understand complex ADAS system architectures and
software interfaces.
