We are looking for young, talented & ambitious future Engineers who are ready to join Tetra Pak's Projects team.
Tetra Pak has an opening in Arganda del Rey, Madrid for Future Talent - Project Engineer to fill a rewarding and challenging role that will allow you freedom with accountability while working directly with our Projects team and customers. The successful candidate will work independently in project team with some coaching help from a colleague. Recommended to have a mentor.
The successful candidates will report to the Team Leader Pre-Projects.

You will be based in Arganda del Rey, Spain but you will work in a global arena. The estimated travelling time can be up to 40% of your time.
What you will do
- Analyze and understand customer requirements
- Develop Tetra Pak line solutions and line configurations for both packaging and processing areas.
- Efficient flow diagrams and layout design, fulfilling all Tetra Pak corporate standards, technical and legal requirements minimizing production costs
- Project risk assessment
- Project scheduling
- Quotation cost calculation
- Final offer preparation with commercial conditions together with sales responsible.
- Ready to discuss with internal / external costumer the quotation
- Support to Project Manager for technical details during Project implementation and Variation orders
We believe you have
- University degree in Mechanical, Agronomic or Industrial Engineering.
- Good engineering skills: Civil engineering and Mechanical and Flow dynamics
- Good proficiency with CAD tools as well as an excellent command of MS Office.
- Excellent command of Spanish & English language is mandatory. Portugese will be considered a plus.
- A self-starter attitude as you will need to develop expertise in equipment by reading manuals, searching on the intranet, learning from others, field experience etc.
- You can work under pressure, willing to go the extra mile when needed.
- You are well-organized and accurate, with an excellent attention to detail.
- You can take initiative and you have a strong sense of meeting commitments.
