Game Designer(Casual Games)

Summary

Designs and optimizes mobile puzzle games for global audiences, balancing technical feasibility with user experience while collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead system design and iterative optimization for global mobile puzzle games, ensuring technical feasibility and user-centric functionality;
  • Conduct competitive intelligence tracking, analyze and synthesize core strengths and weaknesses, produce comprehensive analysis documentation, and drive end-to-end solution implementation;
  • Formulate data-informed hypotheses and oversee the execution of product optimization iterations;
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, monetization, R&D, and QA teams to ensure high-quality product feature launches, and foster synergy to accelerate business growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) disciplines such as Mathematics or Computer Science;
  • Demonstrated experience in live product tuning is preferred, with independent expertise and insights into gameplay experience optimization;
  • Foundational understanding of European and American user demographics and preferences; prior experience in global casual game projects is highly desirable;
  • Acute sensitivity to game experience with the ability to identify, diagnose, and articulate experience-related pain points;
  • Strong sense of accountability, open-mindedness, and proven capabilities in pressure resilience, cross-team communication, and collaborative teamwork.
