I'm currently recruiting for an experienced SC-cleared GCP Cloud Engineer to join a contract engagement supporting a highly secure technical programme. This role will focus on building, managing and optimising cloud infrastructure within Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring scalable, secure and resilient cloud environments.

This role will focus on building, managing and optimising cloud infrastructure within Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring scalable, secure and resilient cloud environments.
The Opportunity
- Outside IR35
- Contract role
- Active SC clearance required
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment
- Strong commercial experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Proven background designing, implementing and maintaining cloud infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, ideally using Terraform
- Good understanding of cloud networking, IAM and cloud security best practices
- Experience with Kubernetes/GKE and containerised workloads
- Scripting and automation skills (e.g. Bash, Python or similar)
- Previous experience working within secure or highly regulated environments
