Job Description

We are looking for an experienced GCP DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), DevOps automation, CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure management, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). The candidate will be responsible for building, deploying, automating, and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Manage GCP services such as Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud Networking, and IAM.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational tasks using scripting.
• Manage Docker containers and Kubernetes deployments, preferably on GKE.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize performance and costs.
• Implement cloud security best practices, access controls, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with development, QA, security, and operations teams to improve deployment efficiency.
• Support production releases, incident management, and root-cause analysis.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Expertise in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
• Proficiency in scripting using Python, Shell, or Bash.
• Good understanding of cloud networking, IAM, security, and monitoring.
• Experience in troubleshooting and managing cloud infrastructure in production environments.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Cloud Build.
• Knowledge of Ansible or configuration management tools.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Monitoring, or Cloud Logging.
• Understanding of GitOps, SRE practices, and high-availability architecture.
• Relevant GCP certifications.

Candidate Profile

• 8–12 years of overall IT experience with strong relevant GCP DevOps experience.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and automation skills.
• Ability to manage cloud infrastructure and support production environments.
• Willingness to work in Pune, Hyderabad, or Bangalore.
