GCP DevOps Engineer

A Senior GCP DevOps Engineer is required for a 6-month contract based in Dublin or Letterkenny. You will lead the engineering and automation of secure, resilient and highly available cloud-native platforms on Google Cloud, supporting large-scale cloud transformation within a regulated financial-services environment.

The role covers GCP platform engineering, DevSecOps, SRE and cloud modernisation, with responsibility for building reusable infrastructure standards, strengthening automation and improving platform reliability.

Key Skills

• Strong GCP experience across GKE, Cloud Build, Cloud Run, VPC, IAM, Cloud Storage and Cloud Operations
• Expert Terraform, including reusable modules, remote-state management and policy as code
• Kubernetes, Docker, Helm and service mesh technologies such as Istio
• CI/CD and GitOps using tools such as Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD or Argo CD
• Python, shell scripting, YAML and REST APIs
• Monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana and OpenTelemetry
• Cloud security, IAM, secrets and vulnerability management
• SRE, incident management and root-cause analysis
