Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced GCP DevOps Engineer with strong Java development skills and expertise in cloud-native application development, microservices architecture, and DevSecOps practices. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building scalable applications, developing CI/CD pipelines, and deploying and managing cloud-native workloads on platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Alibaba Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using Java, Spring Boot, Python, and related technologies.
• Develop, deploy, and manage cloud-native applications on GCP and other cloud platforms.
• Design and implement microservices architecture and apply appropriate software design patterns to solve business problems.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines from scratch and integrate them into daily development workflows.
• Implement DevSecOps practices, including code security scanning, vulnerability management, and secure software delivery.
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and GKE for containerization and application orchestration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performance software solutions.
• Apply SOLID principles and clean code practices to ensure maintainable and high-quality code.
• Work with technologies such as Kafka, Apache Beam, Spark, and Flink where required.
• Troubleshoot application, deployment, infrastructure, and performance-related issues.

Mandatory Skills

• 7–10 years of experience in software development, cloud engineering, or DevOps.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot / Spring Cloud.
• Good experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other major cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline development.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.
• Good understanding of microservices architecture and software design patterns.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps practices and secure development workflows.
• Strong knowledge of SOLID principles and clean code practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Python development using Flask, Django, or Tornado.
• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Knowledge of Kafka, Apache Beam, Spark, or Flink.
• Experience with GKE and cloud-native deployment patterns.
• Experience working across multiple cloud platforms, including AWS and Alibaba Cloud.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
