Lapita, Dubai Parks and Resorts, Autograph Collection is seeking a dynamic, commercially focused, and people-oriented General Manager to lead one of the most unique resort destinations within the Marriott International portfolio. This role is ideal for a high-potential hospitality leader with a strong background in Sales & Marketing, Food & Beverage, or Hotel Operations, coupled with demonstrated leadership experience at the executive level and readiness to lead a full-service luxury resort operation.

The General Manager will be responsible for driving business performance, guest satisfaction, associate engagement, and owner returns while ensuring the hotel's distinct Polynesian-inspired brand experience is delivered consistently. The role requires a strategic operator who can successfully balance commercial growth, operational excellence, and talent development.

Lapita, Dubai Parks and Resorts, Autograph Collection is a luxury Polynesian-themed resort located within Dubai Parks and Resorts, offering direct access to major attractions including MOTIONGATE™ Dubai, LEGOLAND® Dubai, LEGOLAND® Water Park, Riverland™ Dubai, and REAL MADRID WORLD. The resort features premium guest rooms, suites, villas, multiple restaurants and bars, leisure facilities, spa experiences, family-focused amenities, pools, a lazy river, and extensive meeting and event space.

Candidate Profile Required Experience
  • 1 to 3+ years of successful experience in a Hotel Manager, Executive Assistant Manager, Director-level, or General Manager role within a premium, upscale, or luxury hotel environment.
  • Progression through Sales & Marketing, Food & Beverage, or Hotel Operations leadership disciplines.
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated financial and revenue management capabilities.
  • Experience leading large teams within a complex resort or full-service hotel operation preferred.
  • Marriott experience is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities Business Leadership
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans that deliver revenue, profit, and market share growth.
  • Maximize RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, F&B revenues, and total hotel profitability.
  • Partner with ownership and regional leadership to achieve financial objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and destination developments to identify growth opportunities.
Sales & Marketing Leadership
  • Lead commercial strategies across sales, marketing, revenue management, digital channels, and public relations.
  • Establish strong relationships with key customers, corporate accounts, travel partners, destination stakeholders, and tourism authorities.
  • Drive group, leisure, entertainment, and family travel market performance.
  • Ensure effective positioning of the hotel within the luxury resort and family leisure segments.
Operational Excellence
  • Oversee all aspects of resort operations, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Recreation, Security, and Guest Services.
  • Maintain Marriott brand standards and Autograph Collection service expectations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in guest satisfaction scores and operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure exceptional execution of resort, entertainment, and family guest experiences.
Food & Beverage Leadership
  • Champion innovative dining experiences and maximize F&B profitability.
  • Ensure strong quality, service, safety, and cost-control practices across all outlets.
  • Support the development of unique culinary and beverage programming that enhances the guest experience.
Talent & Culture
  • Build a high-performing leadership team through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning.
  • Foster a culture of inclusion, accountability, engagement, and recognition.
  • Lead associate development initiatives to support Marriott's talent philosophy.
  • Maintain strong employee engagement and retention results.
Owner & Stakeholder Relations
  • Act as the primary point of contact for hotel ownership and key stakeholders.
  • Present business results, forecasts, capital plans, and strategic recommendations.
  • Build collaborative partnerships that support long-term asset value growth.
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with Marriott policies, brand standards, local regulations, and safety requirements.
  • Maintain strong financial controls, audit performance, and risk management practices.
  • Champion sustainability, responsible business, and community engagement initiatives.
