Generative AI Automation Project Manager

Role Overview :

As a Gen AI Automation Project Manager, you will bridge the gap between complex banking requirements and cutting-edge generative AI capabilities.

You will lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, translating business challenges into scalable automation solutions that optimize internal processes and customer-facing interfaces.

Working closely with cross-functional engineering teams, data scientists, and senior banking stakeholders, you will ensure that AI-driven initiatives are not only technically sound but also compliant with stringent financial regulatory standards, ultimately delivering measurable improvements in operational throughput and service quality.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define the product roadmap for Gen AI-driven automation tools to address specific pain points in banking operations such as document processing, compliance reporting, and customer support.

- Translate complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications for engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of AI models into existing banking legacy systems.

- Manage the prioritization of features and backlog grooming to ensure the timely delivery of automation projects that align with the broader digital transformation strategy.

- Collaborate with risk and compliance departments to ensure all AI-generated outputs meet data privacy, security, and ethical AI standards required by the banking industry.

- Monitor product performance metrics and user feedback to iterate on automation workflows, ensuring continuous improvement in accuracy and business value.

Required Skillset :

- Possess 8 - 12 years of professional experience in product management or business analysis, with a proven track record of delivering automation solutions within the banking or financial services domain.

- Demonstrate deep functional expertise in Generative AI, including an understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and their practical application in automating enterprise workflows.

- Exhibit strong analytical capabilities to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable product insights that drive business growth.

- Communicate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals, timelines, and expected outcomes.

- Adapt to a fast-paced, hybrid work environment in Bangalore or Pune, demonstrating the ability to lead cross-functional teams across different time zones and project phases.

- Hold a relevant degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, supplemented by a strong understanding of modern software development lifecycles.
