We are seeking a structured, delivery-focused PMO & Governance Specialist to drive clarity, control, and pace across a complex technology transformation program. In this role, you will act as a vital bridge between multi-disciplinary engineering streams and executive leadership, ensuring seamless communication, robust risk management, and predictable delivery within a German-speaking business environment.
- Proven PMO discipline and track record in large-scale, multi-stream transformation environments.
- Strong synthesis skills—ability to translate technical details and fragmented updates into concise executive messages.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in both German and English, with strong skills in documenting workshops and key decisions.
- High confidence in engaging with senior business leaders, distributed delivery teams, and onsite coordinators.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel for data visualization and executive reporting.
- Sound working knowledge of modern delivery methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Hybrid frameworks).
⚙️ Must-Have Qualifications
- Professional Experience: Hands-on experience in a PMO, Project Management, or Program Governance role within Financial Services or Technology Transformation.
- Governance Tooling: Demonstrated experience building and maintaining RAID logs, action trackers, and executive status packs.
- Language Proficiency: Business-fluent English and very strong German (min. C1), capable of leading meetings and drafting materials in both languages.
- Mobility: Willingness to work in a hybrid setup (at least 50% onsite presence) with willingness to travel to Germany based on project requirements.
- Mindset: Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, and a proactive ownership mindset.
🌟 Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)
- Industry domain knowledge in Wealth & Asset Management, Banking, Capital Markets, Securities, or Fund Operations.
- Familiarity with enterprise work management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Recognized project management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PSM, AgilePM, or PMP).
- Prior experience interfacing directly with stakeholders in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
