As a Solution Engineer you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize solutions that enhance warehouse operations. This role combines generic responsibilities with role-specific expertise.

How you create impact

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Blue Yonder platform, including architecture, APIs, and configuration options, to design optimal solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom application components, extensions, and services in line with platform and coding standards.
  • Apply secure coding practices and ensure compliance with KN security standards throughout development.
  • Ensure adherence to SDLC principles and Agile methodologies during design and implementation.
  • Ensure all source code is secured and committed to the appropriate repository in preparation for release packaging and deployment.
  • Use monitoring and profiling tools such as MOCA Console and Trace Analyzer to proactively detect, isolate, and resolve issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on testing defects and implement appropriate resolutions.
  • Optimise solution performance, reliability, and maintainability through refactoring and technical debt management.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development frameworks, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and maintainability.
