Global Endpoint Lifecycle Manager

Role description: Arcadis is seeking an experienced Endpoint Asset Manager to own the global governance of the endpoint asset lifecycle across the organisation.
This role is accountable for the operational performance, governance, control and continual improvement of endpoint asset management, including PC Refresh, device recovery, lifecycle planning, stock governance, CMDB data quality, re-use, retirement and disposal. The successful candidate will lead a team of Asset Management Analysts and work closely with Digital Locations, LSO Managers, Engineering teams, Security, Service Management and Technology leadership to maximise the value, security and compliance of endpoint assets throughout their lifecycle. This is a leadership role focused on governance, continuous improvement and global programme delivery rather than local fulfilment or inventory administration.

Role accountabilities:

Global Endpoint Lifecycle Governance

• Own the global endpoint asset lifecycle strategy and operating model.
• Establish and maintain governance, standards, controls and lifecycle policies.
• Ensure acquisition, deployment, recovery, re-use, retirement and disposal activities are performed consistently across regions.
• Identify lifecycle risks and drive corrective actions to resolution.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, financial, data protection and security requirements.

PC Refresh Programme Leadership

• Own the end-to-end global PC Refresh programme.
• Develop multi-year refresh roadmaps and annual delivery plans.
• Manage refresh delivery against approved budgets and forecasts.
• Drive recovery, redeployment and value optimisation of returned devices.
• Establish performance metrics and governance reporting to ensure delivery commitments are achieved.

Asset Data Governance and CMDB Control

• Own the quality, accuracy and integrity of endpoint asset records.
• Establish reconciliation controls between procurement, discovery, CMDB and physical asset records.
• Drive improvement initiatives to reduce data quality risks.
• Ensure asset data supports operational, financial, security and audit requirements.
• Define and monitor KPIs relating to asset accuracy and lifecycle compliance.

Recovery and Asset Value Management

• Develop recovery strategies covering leavers, repairs, replacements and refresh activities.
• Improve recovery rates and minimise asset loss.
• Maximise re-use opportunities and reduce unnecessary asset spend.
• Balance operational requirements, lifecycle costs, sustainability objectives and risk management.
• Drive continual improvements in stock utilisation and asset value recovery.

Tooling and Process Strategy

• Lead the evolution of the endpoint asset management toolset.
• Partner with Security, Service Management, Endpoint Engineering and CMDB teams to improve automation and integrations.
• Develop lifecycle reporting, dashboards and management information.
• Improve visibility, governance and operational efficiency through technology and process improvements.

Leadership and Stakeholder Management

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Asset Management Analysts.
• Influence stakeholders across Digital Locations and wider technology teams.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers, procurement, finance and regional operations teams.
• Drive accountability for lifecycle compliance and asset governance across regions.
• Present performance, risks, exceptions and improvement programmes to leadership teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

Required Experience

• 5+ years leading endpoint or IT asset management functions in a multinational environment.
• Experience governing large-scale endpoint lifecycles across multiple countries.
• Experience leading PC Refresh or endpoint transformation programmes.
• Proven experience improving CMDB accuracy and lifecycle controls.
• Experience developing governance frameworks, reporting and KPI management.
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive cross-functional change.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of lifecycle financial management, asset recovery and value optimisation.
• Experience with ITSM, CMDB, endpoint management and asset management platforms.

Preferred Experience

• BMC Helix or ServiceNow Asset Management and CMDB.
• Discovery and endpoint management platforms.
• ITIL, ITAM or SAM certifications.
• Experience within engineering, professional services or other complex multinational organisations.
• Experience managing global refresh programmes involving thousands of endpoint device.
