Role Overview
The Employee Life Cycle Analyst (Tier 1) plays a key frontline role in APAC HR Operations, ensuring core employee life cycle transactions are delivered accurately, on time, and with care. From hire to retire, this role helps ensure employees are supported seamlessly across their journey. This is more than an administrative role. You will work in a digital-first HR environment using tools such as Workday, ServiceNow, chatbots, and payroll vendor platforms, supporting automation, self-service, and process simplification. You’ll help maintain high data integrity, support payroll and compliance reporting, track operational metrics, and proactively flag risks and improvement opportunities. Designed as a launchpad role, this position offers exposure to global HR operations, payroll processes, compliance frameworks, and modern HR technologies—setting you up for future growth as a payroll or employee life cycle specialist.
Note: this is going to be a 1 year contract role.
Key Responsibilities
Digital-First Enablement
- Work on tickets in ServiceNow, providing timely resolution of employee queries.
- Support automation initiatives, e-signatures, and digital workflows with HRIS.
- Learn and adopt analytics tools for data handling & reporting.
Insights & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute ideas to simplify payroll processes and improve employee experience.
- Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and help update SOPs and FAQs.
Employee Life Cycle Transactions
- Process transactions across promotions, compensation changes, job transfers, data updates, letters, and exits.
- Ensure employee records are accurate and up to date in Workday and ServiceNow.
- Prepare checklists, validations, and reconciliations to ensure zero errors.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain employee records and documentation in line with company policies and local regulations.
- Support statutory and internal audits by ensuring data is complete and accurate.
- Keep SOPs, FAQs, and process documentation current.
Skills and Competencies
- Minimum 1 years of experience in HR operations. (internship/project experience acceptable).
- Familiarity with HR systems (Workday, ServiceNow) is an advantage.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel for reconciliations, validations, data audits and reporting.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment.
