Our client, an IT solution provider is seeking an experienced Golang Developer to join their growing software development team. This is a full-time position. As a Golang Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing and maintaining robust backend systems and applications. This position is strategically important to the technology infrastructure and directly contributes to delivering high-performance solutions for internal operations.
What you'll be doing
Designing and developing scalable backend applications and services using Golang
Writing clean, efficient and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Troubleshooting and debugging complex issues in production environments
Optimising application performance and implementing security best practices
Participating in the full software development lifecycle, from design through deployment and maintenance
What we're looking for
4+ years of professional experience developing production applications in Golang
Strong proficiency in backend development, microservices architecture and concurrency models
Demonstrated experience with database systems (SQL and NoSQL)
Solid understanding of software design patterns and system architecture principles
Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication abilities and collaborative work ethic
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
