Golang Developer
Summary
On-site Golang Developer role in Stanwell Moor, Staines (UK). Day to day, the engineer builds Go microservices exposing REST and gRPC APIs, runs them on Docker/Kubernetes, automates CI/CD with Jenkins, manages infrastructure with Terraform, and works with PostgreSQL and MongoDB in a cloud-native environment.

Requirements:- 10+ years of software development experience.
- Strong, hands-on expertise in Golang (Go).
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and gRPC.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD.
- Strong knowledge of Terraform; Ansible or Chef is an advantage.
- Experience with SQL/PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Good understanding of cloud-native application development and infrastructure.
- Experience with Java/Spring Boot or Python is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of security and access management, including PAM/Teleport.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Golang microservices for global payment platforms.
- Architect and optimize high-performance systems for large transaction volumes and low-latency processing.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and gRPC-based services.
- Drive technical architecture, solution design, and implementation of complex enterprise applications.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and automate infrastructure using Terraform.
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud-native environments.
- Implement secure development and infrastructure practices, including PAM and Teleport.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and mentor and guide engineers across distributed teams.
