Golf Operations Staff
Bay Creek Resort located in Cape Charles, VA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Golf Operations Staff! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Pay:
$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
General Purpose:
Golf Operations Staff will offer friendly and expedient service to the property's guests and assist the golf staff with golf shop operations, merchandise sales, and other golf-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer reservations for golf course guests.
- Provide customer service to arriving guests to help expedite the check-in process.
- Arrange and display golf shop inventory as necessary and directed.
- Collect green fees, cart fees, and other revenue from guests, and process transactions through the POS system as trained.
- Issue receipts for guest purchases.
- Take messages for staff or guests.
- Assist with packing and unpacking inventory and golf operations supplies.
- Assist with reconciling cash and accounts receivable charges to the daily register at the close of business.
- Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have a friendly and positive personality.
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of the game of golf preferred.
