Good Evans is a breakfast and lunch restaurant focused on good food, genuine hospitality, and bringing people together around the table.

We're looking for a friendly, dependable Host to join our Lincoln SouthPointe team. As the first person guests meet when they walk through our doors, you'll help create a welcoming experience, manage seating, and keep service running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Greet guests with a friendly welcome and make them feel comfortable.

• Manage seating arrangements, reservations, and waitlists to maintain an efficient flow of guests.

• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.

• Communicate with servers and restaurant leadership to coordinate seating and guest needs.

• Answer phone calls and provide information about restaurant hours, menu items, and specials.

• Provide accurate wait-time estimates and keep guests informed.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming entrance and host area.

• Respond to guest questions and concerns, involving a manager when needed.

• Assist teammates during busy periods to support a positive guest experience.

• Follow restaurant cleanliness, safety, and hospitality standards.

What We're Looking For

• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred, but not required.

• Friendly attitude and strong communication skills.

• Dependability, teamwork, and a willingness to learn.

• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks during busy service periods.

• Comfortable interacting with guests and handling questions professionally.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform the physical duties of the position.

• Availability for daytime shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
