Graphic Designer Team Lead
This is a remote position.
- Team Leadership & Management
- Lead and mentor a team of graphic designers, ensuring high-quality work and professional development.
- Assign and prioritize design tasks based on client deadlines and project scope.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to team members.
- Design Oversight & Execution
- Review and approve design assets to ensure alignment with client brand guidelines and quality standards.
- Step in to produce or refine high-priority or complex creative materials when needed.
- Oversee design projects related to client branding, website graphics, product images, social media assets, and order-related creatives.
- Client Success Collaboration
- Work closely with the Client Success Team to understand client requirements and expectations.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of visual content that supports client success goals and eCommerce order performance.
- Participate in client calls when necessary to present visual concepts or gather feedback.
- Workflow & Process Improvement
- Monitor and improve internal design workflows for better efficiency and scalability.
- Utilize tools like Asana, Slack, Google Workspace, and design platforms (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma).
- Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions to ensure on-time project delivery.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Track team productivity, quality metrics, and turnaround times.
- Provide reports and insights to leadership regarding design output and team performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of graphic design experience, with 1–2 years in a leadership or team lead role
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team of designers
- Strong portfolio covering branding, website, digital, and eCommerce creatives
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and/or Canva
- Strong eye for quality, brand consistency, and detail
- Experience prioritizing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines
- Comfortable collaborating with client-facing teams and joining client calls as needed
- Familiarity with Asana, Slack, and Google Workspace
- Ability to improve workflows and track team productivity and performance
- A dual-monitor setup is required (at least 8GB of RAM)
- Must have at least 25 MBPS internet speed
