Graveyard Security - Houseman

Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Kalthia Group Hotels. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

• Conduct scheduled patrols of the hotel interior, exterior, parking lot, and public areas.
• Monitor the property for suspicious activity and report incidents immediately.
• Ensure all exterior doors, gates, and guest access points are secure.
• Respond promptly to guest concerns, emergencies, and alarm situations.
• Complete daily security logs and incident reports.
• Follow all hotel safety and emergency procedures.

• Maintain the cleanliness of the lobby, hallways, public restrooms, fitness center, and other public areas.
• Keep the parking lot, sidewalks, and hotel entrance clean and free of debris.
• Empty trash containers inside and outside the hotel.
• Restock public area supplies as needed.
• Assist Housekeeping with linen deliveries and special requests.
• Set up meeting rooms or move furniture as directed.
• Complete the overnight housekeeping checklist.

• Provide friendly and professional service to all guests.
• Assist guests with luggage or special requests when needed.
• Support the Front Desk during busy periods.
• Operate the hotel shuttle when authorized and business needs require.

• Perform light maintenance and other assigned operational tasks.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and equipment problems.
• Assist with hotel projects during slow periods.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous hotel, housekeeping, security, or maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required if operating the hotel shuttle).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Must be dependable and punctual.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs throughout the shift.
• Must be available to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Previous hotel security or houseman experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
• Basic maintenance knowledge is a plus.

• Frequent walking throughout the hotel and parking lot.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
