GTM Director
You will act as the General Manager for a specific vertical, owning the revenue number and the strategy to achieve it. You'll define the target audience, generate pipeline, and close deals from first meeting through pilot to signed contract. You'll map the ecosystem, competitive landscape, and customer problems for your vertical, and direct the Content and Events teams on what you need to penetrate your market. You'll represent Verisoul at industry conferences, dinners, and events, building relationships that drive the business forward. You'll also translate customer conversations into strategic insights that shape Product and Engineering roadmaps. This role is in-person in Austin, Texas, and you'll report directly to the Chief Strategy Officer while working closely with the founders.
Responsibilities
- Develop vertical strategy by mapping the ecosystem competitive landscape and customer problems
- Generate pipeline through creative campaigns events content and direct outreach
- Close deals by managing the entire process from first meeting to pilot to signed contract
- Direct Content and Events teams on marketing resources needed to penetrate the market
- Build relationships by representing Verisoul at industry conferences dinners and events
- Translate customer feedback into strategic insights for Product and Engineering
Requirements
- 3–5 years in top-tier management consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG), strategy, GTM operations, or high-stakes startup GM roles
- Ability to dissect a market, identify the winning value proposition, and execute a plan to capture it
- Willingness to do the work—sending emails, taking calls, and negotiating contracts
- Comfort with data, pricing models, and competitive analysis
- Must be located in-person in Austin, TX
