GTM Engineer
Why join us?
Mitti by SafetyCulture is a global tech company, just not the kind you're picturing. Our almost 1,000-person team builds tools that make work better for the three billion frontline workers who keep the world moving. We've got big tech scale, without the sign-off layers or corporate theatre. Every permanent team member gets equity, so when we grow, you do too. This next chapter is about scaling smart, powered by AI, a clear vision and real ownership.
Big tech impact, without the big tech ick.
This role exists to eliminate friction from the sales and customer success process by embedding deep technical and AI capability directly into the Go-to-Market (GTM) team. The GTM Engineer builds intelligent automations and agents that remove manual toil, streamline how the GTM team operates, and drive meaningful AI adoption across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Scope and deliver technical solutions to friction points across the Sales and Customer Success process, with clear, measurable impact on how the GTM team operates.
Own the design and build of AI-powered GTM workflows, using tools such as Workato, Claude, and similar platforms to automate high-volume, high-impact processes across Sales, Success, and Marketing.
Own the technical integrations between GTM tools, including Salesforce and Amazon Redshift, ensuring salespeople have clean, timely, and actionable data without needing to go looking for it.
Work closely with the Data & Analytics team to integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into operational workflows, syncing them across platforms like Salesforce and other GTM tools.
Build and maintain fully fledged, production-grade applications and JavaScript-based automations that solve GTM workflow problems quickly and reliably.
Lead end-to-end delivery of technical projects, from discovery and design through to deployment, documentation, and support, troubleshooting issues and optimising for performance and data consistency across GTM systems.
Establish a continuous feedback loop with the Sales and Customer Success teams, iterating on tools based on real usage rather than assumptions.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Skills
Proven ability to build and deploy automation and integration solutions across enterprise GTM tech stacks, with hands-on CRM experience, including custom objects, flows, APIs, and data management.
JavaScript development capability sufficient to build fully fledged applications, custom integrations, and browser-based tooling that solves real GTM workflow problems.
Experience querying Amazon Redshift or a comparable cloud data warehouse to extract, transform, and surface data that powers automation logic and sales insights.
Ability to design and ship AI-powered workflows using modern large language model APIs, particularly Anthropic's Claude, including prompt design, tool use, and reliable production deployment.
Working knowledge of integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) tools such as Workato (or equivalents like or Zapier) for building and maintaining cross-system integrations.
Behavioural Skills
Walks into ambiguous, undocumented GTM workflows and reverse-engineers the real technical root cause, rather than accepting the first symptom a salesperson describes, and comes back with a concrete build proposal rather than more questions.
Makes deliberate architecture and build-vs-buy tradeoffs when designing a solution, weighing maintainability and data integrity against speed of delivery, rather than defaulting to the fastest hack.
Prioritises well-designed, durable solutions over quick prototypes that break under real-world load or edge cases, treating error handling, monitoring, and failure recovery as part of the build, not an afterthought.
Debugs and reasons about systems end-to-end, comfortable tracing an issue across an API call, a data sync, and a downstream Salesforce field to find where a workflow actually broke.
Communicates technical tradeoffs clearly across audiences, able to justify an architecture decision to an engineer in the morning and explain the same solution's impact to a sales rep in the afternoon.
Curious and self-directed in evaluating new tools, models, and automation techniques, and able to assess technical feasibility before bringing an idea to the table.
AI Skills
Uses AI tools, including Claude, as a core part of their own development workflow, not just as a writing aid.
Can design, build, and ship production-quality AI-powered automations and features, with a working understanding of prompt engineering, context management, and failure modes in LLM-based systems.
Proactively identifies where AI can replace or augment manual GTM workflows and builds the business case for adoption based on real usage data.
