Job Summary

We are looking for friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Waiters/Service Crew members to join our halal restaurant team. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, ensure guests have a pleasant dining experience, and uphold the restaurant's halal standards, cleanliness, and service quality.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests warmly and professionally to create a welcoming atmosphere
• Present menus clearly and explain food and beverage options to assist guest choices
• Accurately take customer orders and enter them into the POS system for efficient processing
• Serve food and beverages promptly to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction
• Respond to customer requests and resolve minor concerns to maintain positive dining experiences
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of dining areas, tables, and service stations to meet health standards
• Assist in setting up and clearing tables before, during, and after service to support smooth operations
• Handle customer payments and process transactions accurately to ensure correct billing
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and halal compliance standards consistently to uphold restaurant policies
• Collaborate with kitchen and service team members to coordinate efficient service flow
• Assist with restaurant opening and closing duties to prepare and secure the premises

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant, café, or hospitality environment is preferred but not mandatory
• Positive attitude and effective communication skills to engage with customers and team members
• Customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor to enhance guest satisfaction
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet service demands
• Good teamwork and interpersonal skills to support a cooperative work environment
• Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts to meet operational needs
• Basic English communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues
• Understanding of halal dining practices and customer expectations to support compliance
• Strong attention to cleanliness and food hygiene standards to maintain quality
• Responsible, punctual, and dependable work habits to ensure reliability
