Guidewire Test Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for Guidewire applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing across Guidewire modules.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in test planning, test case design, execution, and reporting.
• Continuously improve automation coverage and testing processes to enhance product quality.
Required Skills:
• Strong expertise in Guidewire applications and automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience in Guidewire Testing (GT) covering both UI and API testing.
• Good understanding of the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, defect lifecycle, and QA best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
• Experience working with Guidewire modules such as PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and Agile/Scrum methodologies is desirable.
