Handler Hardware R&D Engineer

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the design and development of hardware systems for semiconductor test handlers;
• Lead the overall solution design and optimization of the handler hardware system, covering mechanical structure, motion control, thermal management, and other system integration modules;
• Define debugging plans and acceptance criteria, lead prototype assembly, functional testing, reliability evaluation, and on-site validation;
• Conduct root cause analysis and continuous optimization of handler related issues and improve system performance metrics such as reliability, UPH, JAM rate, and MTBF;
• Prepare and maintain R&D documentation, design specifications, test reports, user manuals, and ensure effective internal knowledge transfer;
• Provide technical support, issue analysis, and improvement solutions for customer sites and internal field service teams.
