Hanger Packer - 1st Shift (6:45a)

Position Summary: Place and/or remove production parts onto a conveyor paint system in a team environment, and in an ergonomically safe manner. Communicate with co-workers and supervisors to avoid unplanned downtime, and inform other associates about concerns, trends, and maintenance requirements. Contribute to process improvement activities focusing on quality and safety improvements and provide training to new co-workers on manufacturing procedures including hanging/packing procedures and accurately cout pieces packed.

Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to, the following:

• Adhere to all safety requirements.
• Provide input on how to improve general safety for the position and the facility.
• Keep up with established line speed of the conveyor.
• Work and communicate positively with co-workers to meet productivity measures
• Hangline Duties:
• Repeatedly load product weighing 10-50 pounds onto a moving overhead conveyor (hang line)
• Hang parts in an ergonomically correct fashion while maintaining the correct speed for the moving conveyor
• Packing Duties
• Learn required packing techniques and requirement for various production lines
• Count accurately for extended periods of time
• Package product according to customer requirements
• Maintain 5S and housekeeping requirements as directed.
