Hardware Tester

Tests computer hardware and related equipment, creates test plans, validates products, and prepares reports for quality control and stakeholders.
Job Summary:
Process testing for computer hardware and computer-related equipment. Creates test plans and equipment, implements and monitors test processes, and completes hardware product validations. Prepare test reports for CM and the customer if necessary.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Conduct a test to verify all parts are defect-free, ensuring quality control.
- Maintaining the testing platform.
- Update testing apps to ensure they support the new product.
- Works closely with CM and Salesman to provide related testing reports.
- Create testing reports of the defective product for CM and the buyer to follow up with the vendor.
- Assists in preparing training material for team members to enhance testing abilities.
- Ensures defects are properly tracked.
- Comply with safety requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience troubleshooting hardware and/or software issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team player.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Min.Edu Level Req: F.5 / HKCEE / DSE
- Working experience preferred but not essential.
