Summary
Coordinates patient care and administrative tasks in a hospital emergency department, handling multitasking, customer service, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced setting.
Job Summary -
Provides direct care in the Emergency setting. Ability to utilize strong customer service skills, proper phone etiquette, high level of multitasking and strong attention to detail within a fast-paced environment. Meets communication needs of the department. Maintains regulatory body requirements, policies and procedures and participates in performance improvement activities. Floats to other areas as needed.
Regulatory Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required (GED).
- Ohio STNA, PCT or EMT certification, preferred.
- BLS certification through American Heart Association Preferred
Language Skills
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Additional languages preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
