Performs the full range of overhaul and repair work including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, determining the exact type and extent of repair required.
Maintains hydraulic lifts, materials handling equipment (MHE), cargo transporters, tow tractors, truck tractors, truck trailers, generators, GSA vehicles, and truck cranes.
Repairs hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems and controls. Performs major and minor overhaul of all types of standard and automatic transmissions.
Performs the full range of overhaul and repair work to automotive vehicles. Conducts functional and performance tests on completed work products using a variety of test procedures and equipment.
Disassembles, repairs and/or rebuilds components and assemblies such as engines, transmissions and differentials by fitting and installing needed parts.
Overhauls and repairs gasoline and electric driven generators, compressor, welders, gasoline space heaters, pallet jacks, and floor jacks.
Determines nature and extent of repairs necessary and replaces, reworks, or refinishes worn or damaged parts.
