Supervises a team maintaining military combat vehicles, plans work schedules, and handles personnel management and safety compliance at a U.S. Army depot.
About the Position: Red River Army Depot (RRAD) is located in northeast Texas, 19 miles west of Texarkana and approximately 170 miles northeast of Dallas. Plan work operations on a weekly or monthly basis, allocates resources, distributes work, provides data for long range schedules, and participates in planning meetings.
Serve as first-level supervisor over leaders and workers performing multi-skill maintenance on combat vehicles at various CONUS and occasional OCONUS locations.
Manage personnel actions, evaluates performance, determines training needs, schedules leave, acts as labor-management representative, enforces safety, and manages property as hand receipt holder.
Ensure high morale, provides counseling, maintains readiness for CONUS/OCONUS travel, and oversees compliance with physical, training, and certification requirements.
As required to support organizational mission and emergent workload.
