Summary:
3 Reasons Consulting is seeking a qualified Help Desk Technician II to provide onsite technical and customer support at the Naval Health Research Center (NHRC), located at Naval Base Point Loma in San Diego, CA. This position supports end-user desktop environments and contributes to managing, analyzing, and developing C4ISR systems within a secure DoD setting. The ideal candidate is both customer-focused and technically proficient—able to troubleshoot systems while supporting data-driven military research and system integration.
Services to be performed include, but are not limited to:
End-User Support

Act as the primary point of contact for user support via phone, email, and chat.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.

Maintain functionality through diagnostics, patching, and regular updates.

Log and manage requests using ticketing systems to ensure timely resolution.

Train and assist users with DoD standard software and system usage.
C4ISR Systems Support

Manage and analyze data related to C4ISR systems.

Support lab testing and assist in system design, analysis, testing, and modification.

Work on integration of LPD/LPI waveforms and development of anti-jam capabilities.

Support interoperability efforts using open architecture frameworks like SOSA, C5ISR/CMOSS, OMS, and UCI.

Prepare documentation and ensure compliance with DoD protocols.

Participate in system audits and ongoing performance evaluations.
General Duties

Comply with medical treatment facility (MTF) safety and operational protocols.

Maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Assist in onboarding and training of new team members.

Complete bi-weekly workload documentation in DMHRSi.

Contribute to process improvement and participate in team meetings.
Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Applied Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum 3 years in technical support/help desk roles, preferably in DoD/government settings.

3+ years supporting C4ISR systems (preferred).
Required Certification(s):

IAT II Level Certification

Clearance Level: Active Secret Security Clearance
