You will manage designated corporate accounts, develop and solicit new business, drive total hotel revenue from rooms, catering, and F&B outlets, address business needs, explore new opportunities, and expand existing business through promotional efforts and sales channels. As a International Sales Manager, you’re not just generating and managing group sales – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

As the International Sales Manager, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Complete the relevant Hilton University courses promptly and pass the tests.

  • Be familiar with hotel product knowledge and related activities in both local and international markets.
  • Responsible for the promotion and sales of all hotel products to international markets, including but not limited to rooms, catering, banquets, and MICE business.
  • Complete international sales targets and related tasks set by the hotel.
  • Develop international sales plans and obtain approval from the Director of Sales or Commercial Director, maintaining and developing overseas clients and accounts according to the plan.
  • Understand international customer needs through overseas sales trips, virtual meetings, telephone sales, and face-to-face visits, achieving sales.
  • Produce quotations efficiently, send contracts to international clients and follow-up promptly.
  • Show international clients around the hotel.
  • Operate the hotel reservation system to book rooms, banquet venues, and group business for overseas clients.
  • Send the team’s work order promptly and ensure that relevant departments receive accurate information.
  • Establish strong relationships with international customers, maintain updated client databases, and promptly report customer needs and feedback to the hotel.
  • Promote and recommend other hotels within the global Hilton network to international clients.
  • Proactively collect global market and industry information and share it with the Sales team to capture business opportunities and convert them into confirmed business.
  • Understand competitor information in international markets, including key clients, room offerings, catering, conference promotions, and provide timely feedback to the Commercial Director / Director of Sales / Senior Sales Manager.
  • Welcome key international customers, overseas group leaders, and VIPs upon arrival.
  • Motivate and train department employees and ensure strong performance in handling international business.
  • Ensure effective communication between the Sales team and Operations team through regular meetings and assist relevant departments with international events and group business.
  • Handle feedback or complaints from international guests with professionalism and cultural awareness.
  • Maximize international sales opportunities at all times and effectively forecast team and banquet revenue from overseas markets.
  • Provide necessary supervision and guidance to the Sales Director or sales representatives in handling international accounts, quotations, and contracts.
  • Actively participate in the development of global marketing plans and collaborate to achieve budget targets.
  • Conscientiously perform assigned tasks and special projects.
  • Design new hotel products targeting international markets based on demand, set sales targets, and be responsible for related promotion and sales.
  • Organize customer engagement activities such as FAM trips, client events, and networking sessions for international or potential clients, maintaining and strengthening relationships.
  • Regularly analyze international source markets and develop expansion strategies and channels.

  • Have certain customer resources.
  • Able to lead by example.
