PurposeCare and its affiliate companies are seeking an experienced, compassionate Home Service Worker / Caregiver to provide one-on-one care for a client in Bartlett, IL.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident caregiver who has experience working with clients requiring advanced physical assistance and enjoys building meaningful relationships while helping someone remain safe and comfortable in their own home.

We're looking for a caregiver who is experienced and comfortable providing care for a client who is:

• Wheelchair dependent
• Blind and nonverbal
• Living with dementia
• Requires Hoyer lift transfers
• Needs full personal care and mobility assistance

The ideal caregiver is patient, dependable, physically capable, and passionate about providing exceptional care with dignity and compassion.

What You'll Do

As a Home Service Worker, you may assist with:

• Personal care, bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Safe Hoyer lift transfers and mobility assistance
• Toileting and incontinence care
• Meal preparation and feeding assistance
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Companionship and emotional support
• Maintaining a safe, clean home environment
• Observing and reporting changes in the client's condition

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who has:

• Previous professional caregiving experience
• Experience using a Hoyer lift (required)
• Experience caring for clients with dementia (strongly preferred)
• Confidence providing total personal care and mobility assistance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently and reliably
• A compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Reliable transportation is required
• Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening
