Iowa Home Care is hiring a dependable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a part-time evening position in Ankeny.

What You'll Do

You’ll provide hands-on assistance based on each patient's individual plan of care. Responsibilities may include:

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene

• Help with toileting and other personal care needs

• Assist with walking, transfers, positioning, and mobility

• Take and document vital signs as directed

• Assist with catheter and G-tube care as trained and directed

• Help with light housekeeping related to the patient's care

• Assist with laundry, dishes, and maintaining a safe living environment

• Follow infection prevention, safety, and PPE procedures

• Watch for changes in the patient's condition and communicate concerns to the nursing team

• Provide companionship, encouragement, and emotional support

• Respect each patient's privacy, routines, preferences, and dignity
