As a Home Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients.
Key Responsibilities\:
- Providing Essential Homemaking Support\: Execute homemaking tasks according to the established care plan, ensuring the highest standards of comfort and safety for our clients.
- Maintaining a Clean and Safe Environment\: Perform light housekeeping duties, including washing dishes, doing laundry, making beds, sweeping and mopping floors, dusting, vacuuming, and removing garbage.
Meal Preparation and Shopping\: Prepare nutritious meals as outlined in the care plan and shop for groceries and personal items.
- Monitoring and Reporting\: Observe client conditions meticulously and report any unusual events or changes in condition promptly.
- Infection Prevention\: Adhere to infection prevention practices to ensure a safe environment.
- Record Keeping\: Maintain accurate and detailed client records and documentation as required.
- Continuous Learning\: Engage in ongoing internal and external continuing education activities to stay updated with best practices in home support.
