Position: Home Support Worker
Contract: Casual Contract / Part-Time
Pay: €14.75 per hour
Mileage Allowance: €0.25 per kilometre

Are you a caring, compassionate, and reliable person who would like to make a real difference in the lives of older people? We are looking for dedicated Home Support Workers to provide personalised assistance to older people in their own homes, helping them to maintain their independence, dignity, comfort, and quality of life.

The Role

As a Home Support Worker, you will provide practical and personal support to service users in their homes, working in partnership with them and their families to help them remain independent for as long as possible.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing compassionate and respectful support to older people in their own homes.
• Assisting service users with their day-to-day needs in accordance with their individual care plans.
• Promoting independence, dignity, privacy, and personal choice.
• Supporting service users to maintain their wellbeing and quality of life.
• Communicating effectively with service users, families, and the wider support team.
• Providing reliable, person-centred assistance tailored to each individual's assessed needs.

• Holiday entitlement: Four weeks of paid annual leave, calculated pro rata based on hours worked.
