Pay Range: $60,000 - $68,000 annually, depending on experience
Checkered Flag Automotive Group is looking for a Inventory Control Manager to join our team in Norfolk, VA!
What our Inventory Control Managers Do
- Maximizes vehicle sales and profitability by tracking and managing the vehicle inventory
- Manages and control an acceptable daily supply of vehicle inventory
- Ensure all vehicles are stocked properly and that vehicles are tracked appropriately through the reconditioning process
- Ensures all new car vehicles have been pre-delivery inspected by the service department as well as fully detailed and showroom ready
- Monitors inventory and performance to identify trends through analysis of daily and monthly operating and inventory reports
- Maintains a smooth and timely workflow of all used vehicles through the reconditioning stage
- Performs quality checks to ensure vehicles meet our standards
Your Pre-Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of dealership and automotive products
- 1-3 years of merchandise or inventory experience, preferably in automotive retail or related field
- Strong communication and process management skills
- Knowledge of Dealer software a plus
- Basic knowledge of automotive sales is a plus

Must have a valid driver's license with 3 or fewer moving violations in the last 3 years
- Major violations in the last 3 years, such as DUI or Reckless Driving, will disqualify candidates
